Cross over flies

Some cross over saltwater/perch flies that I tied up for targetting Ide with in the spring. Ide here around the island can be caught up to 3 kilos and just after spawning in early June they hit small baitfish patterns without any questions asked.

The chartreuse little ned tube flies are the chizzle. First I tied on a small 10mm strip of white raccoon fur towards the back of the tube. Then added a small clump or chartreuse bucktail on the top and underneath of the tube then added a thin clump of black bucktail for the lateral line.

This was one of the smaller Ide from last season I picked up.
