This is more a vintage pike fly than anything else and am sure after the 1st couple of pike it will be completely mullard but with this I used a clump of Peacock hurl feathers,a peacock eye feather and 3 red sparkle xmas pipe cleaners.
I started by tying on at the back the peacock eye feather. Then wrapped 3 red xmas tinsel pipe cleaners all along the hook shaft to the eye. Then added 15 or so peacock hurls as far forward as I could. Stuck a couple of contrasting yellow/silver eyes on.....jobs a good en!
