Fly Candy

Some more softbelly baitfish from my vise. This is a bream pattern. I used off white slinky fiber and combined it with olive marabou hairline feathers and yellow goat hair. The eyes are from Richard over at "Custom pike/saltwater flies blog" but more on those next week.

Adding the marabou has not only bulked up the front of the fly nicely but also gives the fly a more fuller shape as well as extra movement during the retrieve.

This one has been tied with orange flash n slinky and combined it with burnt orange marabou hairline and black goat hair. To improve and raise its profile slightly,I crimped the material between the two eyes when glueing them on.
